Client/Government Accreditations
- DTMR rating of R4B2F100 which allows us to perform a wide range of civil construction activities for The Department of Transport and Main Roads.
- The Shadforth Enterprise Agreement continues to meet the requirements of the National Code of Practice for the Building and Construction Industry, which allows the company to tender for and perform works on Government funded projects.
- Projects completed for leading mining companies.
- AS/NZS 4801 (Safety), AS/NZS ISO 9001 (Quality) and AS/NZS ISO 14001 (Environment) Standards Accreditation.
Safety
A Harm-Free Work Environment
Protecting our people, visitors to our sites and the community is something we take very seriously. That’s why we invest heavily in managing and maintaining health and safety through comprehensive induction programs and regular training, as well as complying with all workplace and safety legislation.
Shadforth Integrated Management System includes:
- Operating practices which adopt and promote the provisions of the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 and its associated regulation with significant importance placed in the areas of hazard and risk management and injury prevention strategies
- A commitment to providing strong leadership and accountability in setting the safety direction and establishing measurable objectives and targets
- A provision for providing necessary training, instruction and information to all employees, subcontractors and third parties at Shadforth work places to ensure their health and safety
- A commitment from senior management ensuring resources are allocated to implement an Integrated Management System that conforms to the requirements of AS/NZS 4801:2001 Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems
- A commitment to communicate Shadforth’s safety policy to employees, subcontractors, clients, and the community through internal meetings, toolbox talks, correspondence, emails, newsletters, and Shadforth website
